Having grown up as a lost teenager in New Jersey, Darrin vividly remembers sitting on the roof of his house shaking his fist at God in anger. His life was a mess and he needed help. Not long after that, Darrin was put on a train with a one-way ticket. He was sent to Live Oak, Fla., to live with his brother.

Life was still a roller coaster in Live Oak, and instead of things getting better, Darrin found himself sinking into depression and on the verge of becoming an alcoholic.

Everything changed, however, on Feb. 13, 1997. After tagging along with a group of young people from Melody Christian Center, Darrin wound up at a church in High Springs, Fla. When the altar call was given, Darrin ran down to the front and surrendered his life to God. When the minister looked at Darrin, she told him from that night forward he would never be the same ... and he hasn't.

Darrin Baldwin graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 2000. He served as youth pastor from 1999 to 2002 at Shore Christian Center in New Jersey. In 2002 God directed Darrin back to Live Oak, so in June of that year, he and his wife, Laura, moved back to Live Oak and became youth pastors of Melody Christian Center. In June of 2012, Darrin became the senior pastor of Melody Church.

Darrin has an insatiable desire to turn the world upside down. He wants to see people walk in the fullness of God's plan and to experience Heaven on earth.

Darrin and Laura have three children: twins Sophia and Isabella, 12, and Darrin Christian, 10.
